IAAS stands for the International Association of Students in Agricultural and Related Sciences. While we are a club and we host events, meetups, and other activities that make our club fun for everyone, we are serious about our mission. At MBSTU, we connect students with a global network, organizing workshops, field trips, and seminars to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world innovation.

Not at all! While we focus on agricultural and related sciences, we welcome students from all departments at MBSTU. We, like every other club at MBSTU, work with members from all departments. IAAS is a community who are passionate about sustainability, food security, environmental science, and even agri-tech. More than that, we are a student-led organization, and we are always looking for new members to join our community.

Members gain access to international exchange programs (ExPro), exclusive skill-building workshops, leadership opportunities within the central committee, and a vast network of professionals and students worldwide. Our certificates can also be verified online and it is recognized by IAAS worldwide.

Applications for the executive and control board open annually. But applications for the quality board is open all around the year. Active general members who show dedication to our projects and events will be notified when the recruitment phase begins for the annual application. You can still be promoted anytime to the quality board if you have a good track record.

Yes, there is a nominal fee to maintain your official membership status, which goes directly toward funding our on-campus events, member ID cards, and official merchandise.
